"Cemeteries of London" and "Lovers in Japan" are very ethnic sounding. The entire album is reminiscent of the French Revolution and the songs deal with various historic locations. The songs and lyrics may not come very close to biology, but I'm sure some connections can be made. This one's pretty obvious when it comes to the name and album art. The love songs are very tortured and it feels like Chris just tried to pour his heart out in Warning Sign and especially Amsterdam, a very nice conclusion to the supposedly themed album. "Politik" has a lot of interesting lyrics that fit the theme nicely too. "God Put a Smile Upon My Face" works very nicely too, as it, IMO, deals with distraction from reality. "The Scientist" is a song about science and traumatization, which fits in very nicely. The name itself is very reminiscent of the mind. It's not very firmly tied, but it needed a place.Ī Rush of Blood to the Head is psychology. The album cover is a globe, and songs such as "High Speed" relates to travel. Okay, so I think each Coldplay album can relate to a certain field of study. Keep in mind that I'm a 14 year old freshman so these night be a little far fetched, but here it goes.
